  • A Clarksville teen-ager was left with moderate injuries following a one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Pike County.
    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the mishap happened at 7:40 a.m. on Route D 0.2 of a mile south of Route N.
    A 1999 Chevrolet Malibu was being driven south by 17-year-old Daniel A. Somers of Clarksville. The car traveled off the left side of the road where it struck a creek embankment and overturned.
    A passenger in the vehicle, 15-year-old James A. Somers, was hurt. He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital.
