The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program has returned to Northeast Missouri.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
This year, the local partner for Toys for Tots is RSVP at Douglass Community Services.
Other community partners include Hannibal Parks and Recreation, CASA, and Kids in Motion.
Collection sites for toys in Hannibal include City Hall and Douglass Community Services. Dollar General (Huck Finn Plaza) and Big Lots are also local collection sites. Coin canisters have been placed throughout the area.
All toys and money collected in Northeast Missouri will remain in Northeast Missouri.
To hold a toy drive or make a financial contribution, contact the RSVP office at (573) 221-3892, extension 247.
