  • The Hannibal Jaycees will hold their annual Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 1. The parade, whose theme is “O, Christmas Tree,” will start at 6 p.m. at 10th and Broadway in downtown Hannibal. Check-in will be at the Save-A-Lot parking lot on Broadway.
Entry fee for the parade is one new, unwrapped toy donation. This year’s toy collection will benefit the Douglass Community Center’s Adopt-A-Family Program, with help from Toys for Tots and Dollar General.
Anyone may participate in the annual parade. However, participants are asked to avoid dressing as Santa as the parade will already feature a Santa.
Visit www.hannibaljaycees.org, and click on “Christmas Parade” or on the Santa for an entry form. Entry forms can be mailed to PO Box 484, Hannibal, MO 63401. Forms will also be accepted prior to the parade at the check-in point.
