The Hannibal Salvation Army will kick off the Christmas Tree of Lights Campaign at noon Friday, Nov. 16, outside of its Christmas headquarters at 302 Broadway in Hannibal.
The event will include the announcement of this year’s campaign goal. Hot dogs, chips, soda, and cookies served from the canteen.
Money raised through the Christmas Campaign helps provide Christmas food baskets and toys, as well as year-round help with food, rent and utilities for families in need.
Donations of food and toys are also being accepted at the 302 Broadway address in Hannibal. Volunteers are needed to help man kettles. Those interested in ringing bells can sign up at ringbells.org.
