Mrs. Capp was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Elmer, Brick, Mick, Orville, and Ernie Kramer, and three sisters Leona Menzel, Helen Taylor and Jevita Chinn.
Mrs. Capp was raised in Hannibal and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Upon the death of Mrs. Capp’s father in 1926, she moved to St. Louis and was raised in the Masonic Children Home until her graduation from high school and Secretary School. She then married Lendon “Bill” Garrison in Hannibal. Mo. She divorced Mr. Garrison in 1949.
Mrs. Capp worked as a secretary most of her life and retired Oct. 28, 1982, as Personnel Secretary at Levering Hospital. She enjoyed many activities such as ceramics, camping, watching TV (old movies and sporting events), playing Bridge, music, and being with family and friends. Even though she had Alzheimer’s, she never lost her ability to smile and enjoy people being around her. She loved the music and continued to move her feet and hands to the beat of the music.  When she was no longer able to sing the words to the music, she created her owns words. This earned her the name “ Tu-Tu” as all who worked in the nursing home affectingly called her. Her caregivers at both facilities in which she lived after she could no longer live by herself enjoyed and loved her because of her smile and easygoing spirit.
