Three people were taken into custody by Hannibal police following the execution of a search warrant on Nov. 8.
Detectives with the Hannibal Police Department’s Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant in the 900 block of Georgia St. During the course of the search several items used in the distribution of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and marijuana were located and seized. An 18-year-old Hannibal man, Nicholas L. Riley, was arrested without incident and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and distribution of a controlled substance. He was released pending warrants.
While conducting the search, information was discovered that lead officers to believe other subjects involved were staying at a hotel in the 600 block of Mark Twain Ave. Narcotics officers contacted these subjects and were granted consent to search their room. Items used in the distribution of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and marijuana were located in the room. A 17-year-old woman, Selest A. Jensen, and 22-year-old man, Dylan T. O’Brien, both of Hannibal, were arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance. The woman was released pending warrants. The man was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Marion County Jail.
