  • Raymond Louis Henry is sitting in a prison cell in Jefferson City.
He is incarcerated for burglary and theft charges, but the possibility of further conviction is looming.
Henry, of Bowling Green, is charged with first degree statutory rape and first degree statutory sodomy with a minor under the age of 14. According to court documents, Henry's alleged victim was 6-years-old at the time of suspected incidents.
In the Probable Cause Statement associated with the case, the first incident happened when the girl (only identified by her initials) was in kindergarten while she lived with her pregnant mother in a Bowling Green trailer park. The victim states in the document Henry stopped his actions when he heard a car door slam outside.
Another incident described by the victim in the Probable Cause Statement came in January 2009.
The girl stated she was on the floor of her mother's bedroom and when her mother left for work, Henry came in and sodomized her. The victim also said Henry gave her a purple pill afterwards that made her feel sleepy. And, according to the document, the girl told police Henry did similar actions to her sister.
Jury trial for Henry has been continued in the past, however, the latest scheduling indicates a two-day trial is set to begin Jan. 17, 2013 at the Pike County Courthouse in Bowling Green.
