  • Mary Jacquelyn (Jackie) Freiling, 81, of Hannibal, Mo., died at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Michael Stoerger will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
    Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Freiling was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Hannibal to Robert James and Melissa Lee Barnes Adams.
    She was married to John Robert Freiling Sr., and on Oct. 6, they celebrated 61 years of marriage.
    Other survivors include one son, John Freiling Jr. (Mary), Hannibal, Mo.; one daughter, Marianna Miller (Michael), Hannibal, Mo.; three granddaughters, Melissa Miller, Marshall, Mo., Melinda Greenwald (John), Hannibal, Mo., and September Freiling, Hannibal, Mo.; two grandsons, Justin Freiling, Hannibal, Mo., and Johnathon Freiling, Hannibal, Mo.; one great-granddaughter, Anna Freiling; and two great-grandsons, Mason Greenwald and Jaxson Freiling.
    Mrs. Freiling was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Barnes Adams; and one sister, Shirley Ann Adams.
    Jackie retired from Commerce Bank of Hannibal as Vice-President - Real Estate Lending, and was employed by Accurate Land Title.
    She was a Hannibal Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, Past President of Regional Group National Association of Banking Women, Past Treasurer of the American Heart Association, Girl Scout leader and assistant leader, and a member of Business and Professional Women. Jackie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She and her husband enjoyed camping and spoiling the grandchildren.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Handbell Choir.
    Pallbearers will be John Greenwald, Justin Freiling, Johnathon Freiling, Johnny Paschal, Charlie Paschal and Caleb Griffitt.
    Honorary pallbearers will be John Briscoe, Jerry Lee and Rada Givan.
