Three men were arrested Thursday, Oct. 18, in Quincy, Ill., on drug charges including unlawful possession of heroin.
The West Central Illinois Task Force and the Adams County Sheriff's Office reported they conducted a drug investigation Thursday in the 1300 block of Broadway in Quincy.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of heroin, a 9 mm semi automatic weapon, United States currency and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested during the incident were:
• Cory J. Cyr, 28, of Quincy, on charges of unlawful possession of heroin and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon
• Jeffrey Lance Anderson, 27, of Hannibal, Mo., on charges of controlled substance trafficking and unlawful possession of heroin
• Thomas O. Vito, 29, of St. Louis, Mo., on charges of controlled substance trafficking and unlawful possession of heroin.
All three were transported to the Adams County Jail and remain there Friday.
The investigation lead to the search of 1220 1/2 Vermont were additional heroin and the firearm were seized. The Task Force and county officers were assisted in the investigation by the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
