Lightning is being cited as the cause of a power outage in Hannibal Thursday night that cut service to over 1,900 customers.
According to the Board of Public Works, power was cut to everyone whose electricity flows through the Indian Mounds substation.
Service was disrupted at 8:34 p.m. Most customers had power restored by 9:14 p.m. Everyone had electricity flowing again by 9:40 p.m.
