Louisiana thumps Van-Far 7-2

The Louisiana softball team defeated Van-Far 7-2 Wednesday night in district play. Kaitlyn VanHooser earned the win as she allowed just two unearned runs. Morgan Murry led the Lady Bulldogs’ bats, finishing the night 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in the bottom of the second inning. Louisiana advances to play top seed Elsberry on today.
