Troy man seriously hurt in crash

A Troy man was left with serious injuries following a Wednesday afternoon traffic crash in St. Charles County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 5:42 p.m. on southbound U.S. 61, south of Point Prairie Road.

A 2001 Suzuki Savage was being driven by 29-year-old Brandon S. Sambo of Troy when it traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.

Sambo, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center East in St. Charles.
