  • Charles E. (Chuck) Cosgrove, 91, of Hannibal, Mo., formerly of Quincy, Ill., died at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Mo.
    Memorial graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, Ill., with the Rev. Rebecca Dunger Peak officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by Herman Lodge No. 39, A.F. & A.M.
    There will be no visitation.
    Charles was born July 21, 1921, to Charles and Amelia Webster Cosgrove.
    He married Agnes Whipple Cosgrove, who preceded him in death.
    Survivors include two sons, Jack Cosgrove of Bartow, Fla., and Don Cosgrove of Hannibal; one daughter, Shara Cosgrove Howze of Bartow, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
    Charles retired from Harris Corporation Broadcasting Division. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and participated in the first Honor Flight from Hannibal.
    He was a member of Park United Methodist Church. He graduated from Hannibal High School, class of 1939.
