  • Charles Lieurance and Darlene McKee were married Sept. 21, 1962, at the First Assembly of God Church in Hannibal, with Rev. Glen Renick officiating.

    Charles Lieurance and Darlene McKee were married Sept. 21, 1962, at the First Assembly of God Church in Hannibal, with Rev. Glen Renick officiating.
    They are the parents of two sons, Mark of Jefferson City and Cary of Hannibal.
    They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with their sons and family at the home of Mark and his wife, Melanie. Mark and Melanie also were celebrating their second anniversary.
    Charles is the son of the late J.C. and Dorothy Brown Lieurance of Center and Hannibal. Darlene’s parents were the late Dewey and Mabel Bridgman McKee of Palmyra.
    Charles retired from Unicco at BASF in 2004 after 28 years as an industrial mechanic. Darlene retired in 2008 as secretary of First Assembly of God in Hannibal.
    They live in New London and enjoy volunteering and fishing. Both attend First Baptist and assist with the Ralls County Food Distribution. Charles is a NASCAR fan. Darlene is also president of the New London Community Betterment.
