    84, of Kinderhook, Ill.
    Doretta “Lucille” Edmiston, 84, of Kinderhook, Illinois, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, Illinois.  
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012, at Holy Family Church in Hannibal. Father Nicholas Reid will officiate. Burial will be at Kinderhook Cemetery in  Kinderhook, Illinois.  
    Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Edmiston was born April 12, 1928, in Hull, Illinois, to Henry William and Anna Marie Goellner Keim.
    She was married to William Murray Edmiston on February 12, 1949, in Barry, Illinois. He preceded her in death January 15, 1999.
    Survivors include 2 daughters, Nancy Weitekamp (Larry) of Raymond, IL, and Cathy Bloodgood (Chuck) of Hull, IL; 7 grandchildren, Kim Gray (Dave), Brett Weitekamp, Ryan Weitekamp, Austin Weitekamp, Kayla Weitekamp, Lauren Weitekamp and Kaitlin Weitekamp; and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Allen Keim (Virginia) of Kinderhook, IL, and a sister, Dorothy Gray of Roswell, New Mexico, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, Scott White; and 1 son in law, Dan E. White; 2 sisters, Mary Kelley and Margaret Keim; 3 brothers, Harry Keim and Richard and James, both as infants.
    A lifelong resident of Pike County, she had helped her husband farm for over forty years. She also was a cook at West Pike High School, Dew Drop Inn, Country Kitchen and the Country Inn. Lucille loved to cook, sew and garden. She also loved Chuck and Cathy’s Lab, Gus. Lucille graduated from Hull High School in 1945. She previously worked at International Shoe Company in Hannibal. She was a Catholic by faith.
    Pallbearers will be Donald Epley, Lyndell Chaplin, Bill Chaplin, Darrell Orr, Larry Keim, Chuck Dunker and Bob Gray.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Bradshaw, Rick Keim, Allen Keim, George Smith and Maurice Williamson.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Association, Northeast Missouri Humane Society or PAWS care of Montgomery County, Ill., in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
