Missouri residents age 65 and older who are working at least 20 hours a week at a Missouri job site may be nominated for Missouri’s Outstanding Older Worker for 2012. They are to display dependability and new skills on the job, according to Diane Chambers, state director of ExperienceWorks, which was formerly Green Thumb.
The nomination deadline is Friday, Aug. 17.
Chambers reported regional finalists will be selected and recognized during a two-day awards ceremony in October in Jefferson City, where the winner will be announced.
