Lori A. Brownell Wagner, 46, of Hannibal, Missouri, died at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Clover Road Christian Church in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. The James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clover Road Christian Church.
Mrs. Wagner was born May 24, 1966, in Hannibal, Missouri, to Jack and Kay Mack Richmond.
She was married to Steve Wagner on May 17, 1996. He survives.
Other survivors include three children, Kaylyn Powell (Danny) of New London, Mo., Jackson Wagner and Annie Wagner, both of the home; her parents, of Hannibal, Mo.; grandmother, Ruth Mack; one sister, Kym Richmond of Marlton, N.J.; three grandchildren, Danny Powell Jr., Bradyn Powell and Kolton Powell; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather.
Mrs. Wagner worked as a special service teacher at Hannibal High School. She previously operated a day care so she would be able to be with her children and help others. Lori enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening. She was active in all school activities at Hannibal High School and was a “Pirate for Life.” Lori recently received the 2012 Golden Apple Teaching Award. She attended Clover Road Christian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lori A. Wagner Memorial in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
