Audra Jill Coons and Michael Paul Allgood were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. on June 6, 2009. The ceremony was held at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Quinn officiating.

A wedding reception, dinner and dance were held at the Quality Inn and Suites.
Audra is the daughter of Ms. Christy L. Coons, and Mark and Glenda Coons of Hannibal; and also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Witt. Michael is the son of Paul and Sharon Allgood of Paris, Mo., and grandson of Mrs. Sula Allgood of Floral, Ark.
Maid of honor was Ryley Brothers. Bridesmaids were Terri Howald, Cassie Yohn, both cousins of the bride, Allison Allgood, sister of the groom. Best man was Curtis Ridgeway. Groomsmen were Jimmy Coniglio, Nick Hadley and Staff Sergeant Jared C. Coons, USMC, brother of the bride. Ushers were Billy Bartley, Jared Coons, Chad Ledbetter and Jacob Wood. The flower girls were Nivarra Oredina, cousin of the bride, and Melissa Hadley, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Gabriel Howald, cousin of the bride. The liturgist was Mike Coons, uncle and godfather of the bride and the organist was Chris Ledbetter, Godmother of the bride. Soloist was Patrick Hedges. The guest book was attended by Sheryl Gamble, and the gift table was attended by Rachel Dotson, both cousins of the bride. Angela Birchette was the wedding videographer, cousin of the bride.
Audra wore a Mori Lee gown in a pearl satin with café trim. The beaded embroidery overlays the off the shoulder bodice, trimmed with peaked bands in café at the empire of Swarovski crystals. The A-line skirt was edged with scalloped embroidery beneath the satin café band that continued onto the chapel length train. Her ivory tier veil had a hand sewn matching beaded edge with Swarovski crystals. Audra carried 18 ivory roses in the bouquet accented by million star babies breathes, burgundy, ivory and navy ribbons. Included in the bouquet were blue bird of paradise figurines from her mother’s wedding bouquet. The aisles in the church were decorated with bows in burgundy, ivory and navy with ivory lilies designating the family pews. The Alter was decorated with a unity candle as well as cathedral candelabras with larkspur, alstromeria, lilies and roses in ivory. The ring bearer carried a heart shaped pillow that was hand made by the late Chris Coons, grandmother of the bride and also used at her mother’s wedding. The tables at the reception were decorated with clear glass cubes full of ivory lilies with ribbons to accent the cubes in the wedding colors of burgundy and navy.
A couple’s shower was held May 3, at the home of Mike and Donna Coons, uncle and aunt of the bride and was hosted by Rhonda Browning and Paula Coons, cousins of the bride. A bridal shower was held May 17, at the Saverton Fellowship Hall and was hosted by Rachel Dotson, Terri Howald and Sheryl Gamble, all cousins of the bride. The rehearsal dinner was held at Fiddlestiks Food and Spirits and was hosted by Paul and Sharon Allgood.
The couple went on a Western Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon and is making their home in Hannibal.
The newlyweds would like to thank their parents, grandparents; family members as well as local businesses as without them this beautiful day would have not been possible.
