Pirates release 2010 schedule
The Pirates will open with a long-awaited contest with, Quincy Notre Dame, followed by a rematch of the 2006 State semi-finals when the Farmington Knights visit Porter Stadium.
Hannibal will then open their North Central Missouri Conference schedule with a trip to Fulton to take on the Hornets. Fulton was the only NCMC opponent to score against the Pirate defense last season, falling to Hannibal 55-14 at E.A. Porter Stadium.
The Pirates will step back out of conference play in Week No. 4 to host the Kewpies of Columbia-Hickman. The Class 6 Hickman squad will take on the Pirates for the first time since 1985, renewing a rivalry that started in 1933, with Hickman holding a 36-9-1 advantage over Hannibal.
Hannibal will then play two NCMC games in a row, hosting Marshall in Week 5 before traveling to Boonville in Week 6.
The Pirates face their last non-conference foe of the regular season in Week 7, traveling to face the familiar Crusaders of Helias.
The last three games of the season are district contests featuring three NCMC opponents. In Week 8, Hannibal will host Kirksville, before traveling to Mexico in Week 9 and finishing with a home game against the Moberly Spartans in the regular-season finale.
