Hannibal had five players make First Team All Conference. The Lady Pirates had two seniors and three juniors earn honors.
Leading the way for Hannibal were seniors Theresa Sheffer and Katherine Allen.

Thanks to a nice break in the rain, church league softball was able to resume action this week. While my team was happy to be back out on the field, the rain out last week definitely hurt our bats as Immanuel Baptist fell to 1st Presbyterian Thursday night 14-4.
Unlike our first game of the season, we actually held a lead this game. Immanuel Baptist opened up the first inning by sending 8 batters to the plate and scoring four times.

The Hannibal golf team finished strong Tuesday as both Pirates’ representatives, Alec Abel and Scott Cockrell finished inside the top-15 and earned all state honors.

For the second time this this season, the Pirates beat Francis Howell and this time is when it mattered most. Hannibal beat Francis Howell 5-1 to win the district championship Wednesday night.
While the Pirates lost only one match, they were played very tough by Francis Howell. The first three matches went into a tie breaking match while two matches needed additonal tie breakers.
