Riggs ~ 50th

Ronald Wayne Riggs and Myrtle Louise (Ransdell) Riggs celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 12, 2009.
The couple was united in marriage June 12, 1959 at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Heriford officiated.
The couple’s children are hosting a family celebration in honor of the anniversary.
The couple’s attendants were Georgia Carter and the late Robert Perkins.
Myrtle is the daughter of the late Carl Ransdell and the late Thelma Pabst.
Ronald is the son of the late George Riggs and the late Ernestine Lennox.
The couple’s children are Louis W. (Anne) Riggs, Hannibal and Dr. Dan (Ginger) Riggs, Quincy, Ill.
Their grandchildren are Eric, Ryan, Adam, Evan, Meredith and Thomas.
Ronald is retired from the Postal Service and Myrtle retired as the director of Pre-K and Extended Day Care at St. John’s Lutheran School.
The couple likes to spend time with family and travel, and are active members of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
