Rex and Elizabeth Brown of Perry will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary July 28, 2009.
Elizabeth and Rex were united in marriage on July 28, 1951, by the Rev. John W. Golden at his home in Hannibal.
Rex is the son of the late Wilbur and Gladys Brown. Elizabeth is the daughter of the late Richard and Sarah Robinson.
They are the parents of nine children, Marilyn Frey (Rick) of Perry, Mo., Rita Gottschalk (John) of Wentzville, Calvin Brown (Genee) of Perry, Richard (Dickie) (Tina) Brown of Perry, Vicky Nutt (Bill) of Vandalia, Helen Watson (Randy) of California, Mo., Lance Brown (Sherri) of Monroe City, Bruce Brown of Perry, and Karen Righter (Doug) of Laddonia. They have 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Rex is retired from MFA in Laddonia. Elizabeth worked several years at Twain Haven Nursing Home in Perry.
