Family and friends are invited to an open house to join Sondra Kaye Perry and Lawrence E. Perry as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 2 p.m. Nov. 26, 2011, at First Baptist Church, Main St., Palmyra, Mo., hosted by the Perry family.
The couple was married Sept. 5, 1961, by David W. Wilson. Leon Perry and Jenny Lamont were attendants.
Sondra is the daughter of George and Catherine Smith. Lawrence is the son of William and Velma Perry. Their children are Bryan Perry, Lowell, Ark., and Monica Rojas, Punta Gorda, Fla. They have six grandchildren.
Lawrence is retired from Peabody Coal Co., and currently works for Vacation Rentals Inc., in Bella Vista. Sondra is semi-retired and also works for Vacation Rentals Inc.
The couple enjoys spending time with their grandchildren, golf, fishing, camping and taking care of their dogs.
