Ward ~ 65th

Melvin and Anne Ward of Hull, Ill., will be honored for their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Hull United Methodist Church, Hull, Ill.
The event will be hosted by their children. Family and friends are invited. They request no gifts.
Mr. Ward and the former Anne Hessing were married June 29, 1944, in Quincy, Ill.
Mrs. Ward is the daughter of John and Lydia (Behrensmeyer) Hessing. Mr. Ward is the son of Giles and Gertrude (Haskins) Ward.
They are the parents of Tammy (Larry) Fischer of Quincy, Ill.; Jill (Alan) Purvis of Guttenburg, Iowa; Debbie Rueb of Hull; Mel (Sue) Ward of Kentland, Ind.; Wendy (Bob) Glasgow of Hull; Kathy (Carl) Edwards of Hannibal; Marty (Diane) Ward of Machester, Iowa; and Heidi Mark of Hannibal. They have 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
