Mr. and Mrs. Ferren Sims

Joyce Ann (McNeal) Sims and Ferren Wesley Sims of Hannibal will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on May 12. Joyce is the daughter of Leona Francis and Clyde Kennedy McNeal and Ferren is the son of Helen Francis and Ferren Dale Sims.
The couple was united in marriage by the Rev. Turner and the Rev. Hufstedler at the Antioch Baptist Church in Hannibal on May 12, 1968, which was Mother’s Day. The wedding attendants were Connie Meyers, Shirley Caldwell, Linda White, Terry Sims, John Malone and Jim McNeal.
The couple have two children, Shari Lynn Margheim of Columbia and Amy Beth Dyke of Hannibal. They also have four grandchildren, Joshua (age 9), Erica (age 7), Luke (age 3) and Elaina (age 3).
Ferren is the owner and operator of Swag-Man Antiques of Hannibal. Joyce is currently a homemaker and co-owner of Swag-Man Antiques.
They enjoy spending time with their four grandchildren, gardening and landscaping, and taking cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean whenever possible.
