Fran L. Arnett and Paul E. Arnett Jr., of New London, Mo., are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Dec. 16, 2011.
The couple was married Dec. 16, 1971, in Hannibal.
Fran is the daughter of Earl and Virgie Chandler. Paul is the son of Paul and Ethel Arnett.
Their children are Mike and Shelley Arnett, and Chad and Jill Otten, New London. They have eight grandchildren.
Paul is retired from Operating Engineers, Local 513. Fran is retired from the Hannibal School District and has over 40 years of nursing experience.
The couple enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with their grandchildren.
