Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cunningham Sr. will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at the Hydesburg Methodist Church.
Edward Cunningham and Anna Ruth Maple were married on Nov. 25, 1961. Rev. William Herford officiated. Attendants were Larry Cunningham and Jeanie Williams.
Mr. Cunningham is the son of the late Everett and Mary Cunningham. Mrs. Cunningham is the daughter of the late Vernon and Allie Maple.
They are parents of five children, Edward Jr., David, Laura, Lavon and Chad. They have nine grandchildren.
Mr. Cunningham worked at Altanic Building and retired from Unicco Maintenance at BASF. Mrs. Cunningham retired from Buckhorn Rubber as receiving clerk.
They are members of Hydesburg Methodist Church and the Big River Camping Club.
The couple requests no gifts.
