Glendell (Sam) Haught and Robert H. Campen were united in marriage by Rev. Larry Veatch at First Christian Church 40 years ago on Aug. 9, 1969. Maid of honor was Glendell’s sister, Sheryl Baker and best man was Donnie Powell, friend of the groom.
Glendell is the daughter of Juanita and the late Glen Haught. Bob is the son of the late Mary V. and Julian Campen.
The couple has two children, Samara Campen (Brian Perdue) of St. Louis, and Shea Campen (Audrey) of North Little Rock, Ark. They adore three granddaughters, Abby Perdue, Deseree and Natalie Campen.
Bob is recently retired from Continental Cement after 35 years and Sam worked at HNB for 18 years.
They enjoy their family, home and pets, auctions and traveling.
