Ford ~ 50th

Jimmie Lee Ford and Carol (White) Ford of Frankford will celebrate their 50th anniversary July 5, 2009.
The couple was united in marriage July 5, 1959, at South Side Christian Church. Rev. Elba Martin officiated. The couple’s attendants were Sharon Peikett, Judy Norvell, Evelyn Ford, Kenny Hagan, Rick White and Robin Scott.
Carol is the daughter of the late Francis White and Ann Harrison.
Jim is the son of the late Walton and Rosalie Ford.
The couple’s children are Kelly (John) Potts, Quincy, Ill., Terri (Tom) Ward, Cole Camp, Jody (Jill) Ford, Columbia. Their grandchildren are Troy Potts, Timothy and Tyler Ward, Kaitlyn and Karley Ford.
Jim is retired from the County Clerk’s office and Carol is semi-retired at Dr. John Dennehys office.
The couple’s children are hosting a family celebration in honor of the anniversary.
