Elsberry woman injured in traffic crash

An Elsberry woman was left with moderate injuries following a traffic crash Friday evening in Lincoln County.
The mishap happened at 6:25 p.m. on southbound U.S. 61 at Route K, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Tonya Morris, 27, of Elsberry was southbound on U.S. 61 when a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by 24-year-old Daniel Baller of Troy attempted to cross the highway and was struck by the Grand Prix.
Morris, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance to Lincoln County Medical Center.
