Ida K. Stroh, 53, of New London, suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, in Pike County. She went by ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. She was wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Louis.
Officers said the accident was in the northbound lanes of U.S. 61 1.5 miles north of Business 61. Stroh was driving a 2001 Mazda MPV, when she lost control of it, and the left front of the vehicle hit a bridge rail. It then spun around, stopping on the east side of the highway.
