A pair of Clarence teen-agers sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Shelby County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 7:55 a.m. on U.S. 36, one mile east of Lentner. A 1995 Mercury was being driven eastbound by 16-year-old Camra Hutcherson when she lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2008 Mac truck driven by 47-year-old Ronald Collinson of Strathroy, Ontario.
In addition to Camra Hutcherson, who was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, a passenger in the Mercury - 12-year-old Ethan Hutcherson - was also hurt. He was wearing a safety device when the crash occurred.
Both Camra and Ethan Hutcherson were transported by Salt River Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
