A Hannibal woman suffered minor injuries in a six-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on northbound I-270, south of U.S. 40 at 4:55 p.m. The accident occurred when five vehicles were stopped in traffic when a car driven by Kelly Medler, 42, of St. Louis failed to stop and hit the last vehicle in the line, causing a chain-reaction collision.
Among those hurt in the mishap was Judy Cordes, 58, of Hannibal, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. Cordes, who was wearing a safety device, was transported to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
