A Columbia woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash in Ralls County late Friday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 11:25 a.m. on U.S. 61, two miles south of Hannibal. A 2001 Pontiac driven by Laura Wear, 21, was northbound when Wear lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice-covered road. The vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.
Wear, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
