A three-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon left a Clarence teen-ager with minor injuries.
The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 36 at Route V in Anabel, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 1994 Volvo driven by 16-year-old Kelli Chittum of Clarence and a 2001 Mercury driven by 89-year-old Howard McConnell of Leonard were both stopped in a construction zone when a 2005 Freightliner driven by 52-year-old Bronius Steponavicius of Schiller Park, Ill., struck the rear of the Chittum vehicle, which caused it to strike the back of the McConnell vehicle.
