Two injured in collision

Two occupants of one vehicle were injured in a collision at 2 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, on U.S. 61 two miles north of La Grange in Lewis County.
Jessica M. Dunivin, 20, of Quincy, Ill., suffered serious injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Macon. Her passenger, Bryson W. Dean, 22, of Canton, suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
One vehicle fled the scene after the collision, officers said. An unknown northbound vehicle traveled into Dunivin’s lane and hit her northbound 1993 Chevrolet, then fled the scene. It remained unknown when the accident was reported.
