Sean L. Gwin, 17, of Moscow Mills, went by ambulance to Lincoln County Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries he suffered in a one-car accident at 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, in rural Lincoln County. He was wearing a seat belt.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Louis, Gwin was driving a northbound 1990 Honda Civic on Route W .5 mile north of Route Y when he failed to negotiate a curve to the left. The car skidded across the center line and went off the left side of the road. It hit an embankment and two trees before stopping in a creek bed.
