New London teen hurt in accident

A New London teen-ager suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Ralls County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 8 a.m. on Missouri 19 at U.S. 61. A 2001 Oldsmobile driven by 40-year-old David Houching of New London attempted to cross Missouri 19 at the exit ramp of U.S. 61. In doing so Houching’s vehicle failed to yield to a westbound 2004 Chevrolet driven by 17-year-old Jenna Ebers of New London which struck the Houching’s vehicle broadside.
Ebers, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, indicated she would seek her own medical treatment.
