A Hannibal woman was left with moderate injuries following a one-vehicle traffic accident Friday morning in Ralls County.
The accident happened on U.S. 61, two miles north of Frankford at 7:45 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2000 Mercury driven by 68-year-old Judith Stanton was southbound when she lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice-covered roadway, ran off the road and overturned.
Stanton, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
