Carla M. Crews, 21, of Elsberry, suffered moderate injuries in a collision at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, March 20, in rural Lincoln County. She was not wearing a safety device. She went by ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital.
The accident was on Route EE .2 mile south of Argentville Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Officers said Caleb J. Rowland, 19, of Winfield, was driving a southbound 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and displaying an emergency blue light.
Crews was driving a southbound 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis. The collision occurred when she slowed and started to yield to make a left turn at the same time Rowland passed her on the left, according to the state patrol. Rowland was not injured.
