Hannibal man hurt in Wednesday morning accident

A Hannibal man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning west of Hannibal.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 5:40 a.m. on U.S. 36, eight miles west of Hannibal. A 2007 Dodge driven by 29-year-old Andy Lain of Hannibal was going east when it ran off the road, struck a culvert and overturned several times.
Lain, who was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
