Security was heightened Friday at all Hannibal public schools and at the Bank of Hannibal, 3817 McMasters Ave., following a pair of phone threats. No incidents were reported at either location.
Wesley R. Griffith, 22, and his passenger, Alexandria L. Cannon, 19, both of Clarksville, went to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in a collision at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in rural Marion County. Cannon had serious injuries and Griffith minor injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt.

Two occupants of one vehicle were injured in a collision at 2 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, on U.S. 61 two miles north of La Grange in Lewis County.

Edward B. Gallagher, 39, of Moscow Mills, suffered moderate injuries in a truck accident at 10:10 p.m. Friday, May 2, in rural Lincoln County. He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West.
