HANNIBAL | The Hannibal Arts Council invites the public to submit digital images for Online Exhibition.

Participants who create art can send in pictures. People who collect art can send in pictures as well. There is no specific theme to Online Exhibition, nor is there any age, geographic or medium restriction. From the digital images received, the Hannibal Arts Council will create an online exhibition at hannibalarts.com and on HAC's Facebook page. To submit digital images for Online Exhibition, HAC is requesting up to five images be submitted via email to kerrieo@hannibalarts.com by Wednesday, April 1. Participants may submit each image in a separate email and include their name in the subject line or in the body of each email so everyone may be identified with their images.

If a participant submits images of art, the artist should make sure to note that and maybe share details including the title, price (if for sale), medium and any story behind it. If submitting images of art from a collection, be sure to note that and possibly share details like who created it, what drew the owner to it and any story behind it. Digital or cell phone camera, Instagram or Facebook images are acceptable formats to submit.

Full guidelines for submitting images are available on the Artist Opportunities page at hannibalarts.com. More information on this and other future HAC programs is available by contacting the Hannibal Arts Council at findit@hannibalarts.com or 573-221-6545.

In Case You Missed It

The Missouri high school spring sports season will be delayed until at least the beginning of May due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Most local schools have canceled classes until May 1, and will re-evaluate the situation as it gets closer to that date. The best case scenario would have high school sports resume soon after.
